pregnancy weight gain
OMG ladies please help I need advice and past experiences I did not gain a pound with my first pregnancy, I didnt crave any "BAD" food. But with this pregnancy, all I crave is starch and carb and juice. My goodness. I have gained 40lbs starting weight was 250 now i'm 291. Dreading going back up into the 300s, and how easy is it to loose the weight after baby? Didnt get a cance to loose weight after first child because had an OOPS pregnancy 6months out. HELP going crazy

Honestly, I just had to fight through the cravings. When I wanted grilled cheese sandwiches, I made some fried queso blanco. When I wanted potato chips, I made some shreded cheese crisps. When I wanted juice, I ate some actual fruit instead (still not perfect since it's still sugar, but it's less sugar than juice and more fiber and nutrients, and more filling so you'd likely consume less than if you drank it in liquid form). I stayed low in carbs throughout my first and into my second trimester, and I'm now 35 weeks along and have gained about 20 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight.

I was told by my ob to avoid fruits avoid juices, avoid carbs. She told me cottage cheese, humus, beans, and other sources of protien i am following the instructions but it doesnt stop the cravings so i do the cottage cheese with a little fruit for taste, or beans with a little rice. or baked chicken with a bisquit. I find that if i dont do that I keep wandering back to the refridgerator looking to satisfy the craving and end up over endulging. I am now 6.5 months and 30lbs gained what I am noticing is that it is wobbling one day down 2pounds the next up 3lbs. so I am drinking more water and uping my protiens and runing up and down the stairs during the day.

Im 31 weeks pregnant right now and have gain about 32 ........I was pregnant last year with twins and I had them at 25 weeks and at that point had gained same amount of weight I had lost all but 8 pounds from June to August when I found out I was pregnant.I was put on bed rest.it comes off if you work at it and go back to normal eating habits.Im having a c section and after Dr gives me an ok I will then start running again but I will start walking as soon as I feel ok baby jogger is ready to go!
